Andreaea rupestris is a tiny montane and/or arctic rock moss
appearing dark brown or black with leaves appressed when dry, but
spreading beautifully greenish brown when moist. This specimen was
collected at the bottom of Oiumet Canyon at Thunder Bay (Ontario, Canada).
